MVNU to Belize

From January 2012, I am taking advantage of an amazing opportunity to spend the month with a group of Education majors from Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU) teaching in a very diverse setting. The purpose of the trip is to get a better idea about diverse situation and immerse ourselves in a new culture. This trip will definitely stretch us out of our comfort zones and form us into better teachers.

The group of 21 Education majors have been preparing for this trip for almost a year. We have spent time in prayer for our future students and cooperating teachers (CT), as well as planning lessons, making lists of what to pack, and attending multiple planning meetings. We could not be more excited and anxious about our trip. Prayers are appreciated. :)

This blog will be (hopefully) updated daily throughout our trip with everyone going on the trip participating to the posts. Please continue to pray for us as we are preparing for our trip and especially from January 6-27th when we will be in Belize!!
